April is one of our nursing supervisors and she gets up and helps with all of our patients. She embodies the word teamwork. She is kind, listens to staff and the patients and she goes beyond any measure to make the unit run smoothly. She never sits down and she makes sure all of our people are taken care of. She recognizes others' strengths and compliments any time she can. When we have difficult patients, she lends a kind word or lifts the load. She does the same with our patients. She spent an hour one time in a patient's room because they were having a bad day and after tending to the patient's emotional needs, they were able to participate in care for themselves. In one word she is " Tannerific".
