Kelly was right there to hold my hand and help my husband and I through it. She was so calm and reassuring that I KNEW I would be okay and that my twins were in great hands.
Kelly took care of me and my twins during a very traumatic birth this past March. Kelly was with me the day of my emergency C-section. I really wanted a vaginal delivery. Kelly worked so incredibly hard to help me reach my goal, unfortunately, it just wasn't in the cards for me due to medical complications. I was incredibly sick and I know I wasn't an easy patient to care for due to needing continuous monitoring and medication adjustments. I genuinely felt like I was her #1 priority and she was always happy to answer questions and provide support. I was terrified to have a C-section. But I'd been in labor for over 20 hours. Kelly was right there to hold my hand and help my husband and I through it. She was so calm and reassuring that I KNEW I would be okay and that my twins were in great hands. Seeing Kelly's face in the OR was so reassuring.

After my C-section, Kelly was so attentive, supportive, and compassionate. My C-section was an emergency and was somewhat traumatic. Kelly helped me process everything that had happened while taking great care of me. I ended up having a medical emergency after my C-section, and Kelly identified the problem before it became critical. I truly believe she saved me.

My husband and I are so grateful for Kelly. After taking care of me that day, Kelly took care of my daughter in the NICU for a few days. It was so great to see a familiar face taking care of my baby girl. Kelly showed me ways to feed her to encourage her to eat (she was in NICU for feeding issues), supported us, provided encouraging words when I was having a meltdown, and took exceptional care of my daughter.

Every nurse I had during my stay was great, but Kelly went above and beyond, and I am eternally grateful for her. I won't have the opportunity to have any more children, but if I did, I'd want Kelly as my nurse again. You can't teach that level of caring and compassion, but Kelly sure has it.
