Todd was my dayshift nurse. He did numerous things that make me believe he deserves a DAISY Award. It wasn't just the fact that he did his nurse duties, it was the extra things he did that made my stay as pleasant as possible. And on top of it, I didn't have to ask for these things. He offered. I really wanted my coffee, but there was very little creamer. Todd gathered plenty of creamer for me. Then, I started having one of my pain attacks, and I felt like I couldn't get any air. He rubbed on my back trying to calm my anxiety and slow my breathing so that it would return to normal. I couldn't quit crying when I had these episodes. He would talk about anything to get my mind off the pain. Because of all of this, and so much more, I nominate and truly believe Todd deserves the DAISY Award for excellent nurses!
