When I had my baby back in January I was seen by Dominica, the Lactation Specialist. My goal of breastfeeding my baby was incredibly important to me, but as a first-time mom I had a lot to learn. Dominica was so patient and knowledgeable as she assessed my baby and me, and helped us troubleshoot a few things. The time she spent with us and the intentional care she provided made me feel like we were her only patients! Even weeks after leaving the hospital, I would think back to the principles she taught us and the resources she recommended. Now almost five months later, my baby is healthy and growing, and I think a big part of that was getting off on the right foot at the hospital with Dominica’s help. The ability to nourish my baby with confidence means the world to me. Thank you, Dominica, for making a difference in my family’s journey!
