Michael was one of many nurses who took care of me and all of them were great. Michael has such a calming personality. He was very attentive, checking on me during his shift, even when I didn’t ring. Michael always made eye contact and always told me why he was there. When it was time for medicine, he told me the name of each medicine every time. He didn’t seem rushed and made me feel like he had time for me. I came to Cardinal Hill after a 2-day post-op stay. When I arrived, I was in a lot of pain and scared. Every nurse, tech, and therapist was great. Michael cared for me the most and he made me feel safe and on the road to recovery. Michael has such a calm and pleasant personality. He gave me shots and meds throughout his shift, and each time he would tell me the name of the medicine. He would greet me at the beginning of his shift and tell me that he would be taking care of me. Before his shift ended, he would check on me and tell me if he would be back the next day. Michael made me feel better. He asked appropriate questions and conversed in a manner that made me feel like he really cared and was listening to me. Nursing is a hard job and Michael does it so well. Cardinal Hill is lucky to have him and I am so glad that he was my nurse.
