My husband and I lost our son in utero at 30 weeks and 3 days. Vangie made a horrific and tragic event a little bit easier through her compassion, empathy, and thoughtfulness. She was very caring and supportive of my son and me and has made a positive lifelong impact on my family. She helped me through 2 days of labor and was the only nurse to provide me with tips on how to move my body to induce labor and how to ease pain and find comfort to rest during labor. She is very knowledgeable in the labor and delivery process.

After my son was stillborn, she provided words of comfort and hope to my husband and to me. She blessed my son with holy oil and prayed over him with us. It was so heartwarming, appreciated, and something we will never forget. Vangie goes above and beyond for her patients and is truly a blessing to Valley Medical Center.
