Holly is an exemplary example of the training this wonderful young lady has had. This speaks so highly of The University of Kansas Health System for having her on staff.

Holly was extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and professional, while still being quite personable. She put us immediately at ease amid a most difficult, life-threatening situation. Her ability to establish this high level of trust made this arduous process so much easier. She was attentive and genuinely interested in my husband’s and my comfort and well-being. She was always caring and compassionate.

Holly ensured that all our many questions were answered. When asked a question about scheduling, she went the extra mile and made calls to find out the correct information. When needed one time, she was not the least bit hesitant to request clarification from her immediate supervisor. 

In my professional opinion as an educator of 36 years, I have always found that people who were not afraid to ask questions or take advice made for the very best teachers. In this case, to make for excellent nurses. These individuals showed me that they were confident enough in their own knowledge to ask questions and for advice which would lead to excellence and outstanding performance in their chosen field of endeavor.

In one word, Holly was “wonderful”! She is an extraordinary nurse and an exemplary role model for other nursing personnel.
