She did everything to explain what happened and ensured me that everything was going to be fine, and she would take great care of me.
Maddie was caring and compassionate and went out of her way to ensure my mother was extremely well taken care of while coming off the vent. Maddie went even further to help us to ensure that mother was able to celebrate her 87th Birthday while in ICU. Her energy and enthusiasm were admirable. I hope if I am ever in need of care that, I get as fantastic a nurse as Maddie. Thank you!

My friend K has been in three different hospitals in the last three months. In the 1st two hospitals that she went to, the nurses and doctors were never around. They wouldn’t explain anything. When K came to Henry Ford, everyone was so nice. The nurses and doctors explained everything and answered any questions that we had. K ended up in C-ICU. Maddy was the right nurse. Right away we could tell she loves what she does and truly cares about her patients. Maddy is always around. She always answers our questions, and if she doesn’t know the answer, she will find someone that does. Maddy goes above and beyond.

I came to her after going Code Blue and she did everything to explain what happened and ensured me that everything was going to be fine, and she would take great care of me. She is a person who is very caring, and I can tell she truly loves her job. She has been taking care of me for 3 days now. And she has given me more hope and helped me keep my spirits up. If I need her, she is here as soon as she possibly can. She also made us aware that there was a family room for loved ones to stay the night, and that has been very appreciative knowing my critical condition. We live 1-3 hours away. Every time she comes in, she would make sure my family members were okay and ask them if they needed water, coffee or anything else. Oh, I forgot to mention that if I was depressed and feeling like I was going to get better she would come to my bedside and hold my hand or rub my shoulder and wipe away my tears from my eyes. One thing I will say is ya’ll have an employee who is here because she cares.

Madi has been such a great help to my sister & taken great care of her. My sister has been so much & she finally has a nurse who cares about her job. I would love for Madi to be known for her caring & dedication to her patients. She warms my heart for the future.
