She gladly did, and that made a big difference, and believe that was an act of a godsent angel and thought of Nurse Nightingale.
I came to The Little Company of Mary Hospital for CABG. I was in great pain in the first few days after my CABG surgery. I remember in the evening, I told Joanna that I was in pain and the only way I could breathe in and out was to open my month wide and let my body breathe by itself, and as the result my throat was very dry and painful. I also told her that often time I woke up from the pain when I slept, and I told her it would be a great comfort and soothing relief for me if I could have an ice cube in my month. During the night she came in multiple times checking on me giving me ice cubes. That was beyond my expectation, and in the morning, she helped me get up from bed earlier, and helped me walk in the hallway before her shift ended.

The next day, my doctor removed my tubes and I felt a lot better by that evening. I was so glad that I thought I would be able to sleep better. However, after few nights of struggling with pain and sweating, I felt sticky all over my body. In order to sleep I asked my room temperature be lower but it did not help, Finally, I made a bold request asking nurse Joanna to help me do a bed bath in the middle of the night. She gladly did, and that made a big difference, and believe that was an act of a godsent angel and thought of Nurse Nightingale. In the morning, again she helped me get up earlier, and helped me walk in the hallway until her shift time was up.

I truly appreciate her love and care, and her effort of crying to make a difference in her busy shift schedule.
