I was a travel nurse from March - June on 5S. Desaree was my charge nurse for most of the shifts. As an RN of 13 years, she is by far the best charge nurse I've ever worked under. She not only cares about the staff, ensuring we all get a lunch break, always checking in to see if we need help, and stepping in for med pass or passing dietary trays, she also cares about the patients, ensuring their needs are met by answering call bells and fulfilling patient requests instead of delegating back to the nurses. She is rarely seen just sitting in the office. Whenever Desaree is Charge, I know I'll be able to provide safe and quick patient care.
