Molly was caring for a patient in Cardiac Rehab. He shared she was very kind, caring, and supportive. He stated that he was tired that day but otherwise felt fine. However, Molly kept asking him questions about how he was feeling, voicing concern that she felt something was just not quite right. She "requested/insisted" that they go visit the ED just to make sure everything was "ok". With emotion, the patient shared that Molly was right, something was indeed "not quite right", in fact, something was very wrong. He stated, "If it weren't for Molly, I'd be dead right now". The patient needed immediate intervention and was admitted to the "Hotel Heart and Spine". he stated that Molly is an extraordinary nurse and he whole-heartedly nominates her for this award.
