My daughter was a victim of a heinous crime. We spent over 20 hours in the Emergency Room. It was a traumatic experience and if not for nurse Cassie, it would have been so much worse. My daughter was scared, traumatized, and in horrible pain. Nurse Cassie made sure she was never alone. She brought in an extra bed for her friend who was also a victim of the same crime allowing them to stay together. That meant the world to us!

She made sure once my daughter was able to eat that she had anything she wanted brought to her bedside. Nurse Cassie treated my daughter like a family member -- anyone who walked in that room would think they were sisters. The caring way she spoke with her, and the untiring dedication given to my daughter's needs was touching to me. To the point of tears, I will never forget her kindness and professionalism.

This simple letter of thanks can never truly express our appreciation for everything she did to help our family. Our family would like to say to Cassie: Thank you so much for a job exceptionally well done. You represent a commitment that goes beyond routine care. Cassie, you are an amazing contribution to our community. Know that from my family your dedication and selflessness are truly appreciated. God bless and keep you safe.
