Tina has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever met. Her door is always open for anyone who needs to scream, yell, vent, laugh, or cry. She spends her own money to buy staff food as a way of keeping good morale on the floor. She buys goodies to make baskets for us and she draws names from a bucket for people who have received a "shining bright" from their co-workers for going above and beyond.

Tina is a huge advocate for positivity. She has been our teacher, mentor, friend, co-worker and Mom. She is hands-down the best boss I have ever had.

During Covid, when S was passing away on Thanksgiving, Tina and A came to work to provide comfort for the family. They even provided postmortem care.

It is because of her that we are a family and a team. We believe in helping each other be our absolute best because of her. Tina has high expectations for each of us and it feels like a blow when we don't meet her expectations. When I graduated from nursing school and passed my boards, Tina was the floor RN who trained me to be a nurse. She was an excellent teacher, even then. I would not be the nurse I am today without her. She will bend over backward to work with everyone on their schedule or anything else. She has let each of us cry on her shoulder when we needed to. She believes in us even when we doubt ourselves or don't think we are able to do the job.

Tina picks us up and clears the window so that we can see that we are smart enough, competent enough, and capable of doing whatever we set our minds to. She makes sure to praise good, hard work and yet will hold each and every person accountable for mistakes. She turns it into a teachable moment so it's understood what was done wrong and why. We are a family; not just colleagues or co-workers, and it is because of Tina.

Tina is an outstanding role model because as a nurse and manager, she is always available to help. She provides the highest quality of care to everyone. As a nurse, she provides service to improve the health of our patients, and their family members by communicating and answering any questions they may have. As a manager, Tina is an example to follow because she has the best communication skills. She is very caring and shows empathy as needed while also using her great problem-solving skills to help her employees feel at ease at work. She is well-loved by all.
