My son was seen for surgery and we were blessed to have the opportunity to work with the Pediatric Sedation program. I knew right away that we were in good hands when we met our nurse, Emily Cottingham. Emily was genuinely concerned about my son and made sure that he had all of the information needed for his upcoming surgery. He was a bit anxious and had many questions. Emily took a great deal of time explaining the procedure. She showed him how the IV worked by demonstrating the process with a clean, empty syringe. When finished, she let him use the syringe as a squirt gun. He came into the room quiet, nervous, and worried. After Emily eased his mind by answering his questions with child-friendly language, he was giggling and relaxed. Emily kept us informed every step of the way. The Peds Sedation program and nurses like Emily confirm my choice to only trust Bronson providers in my child’s care.
