This nurse has gone above and beyond. When my father was here for his hospital stays, she treated him and the family with the utmost respect, explained medications and what they were for, and also listened to what not only my dad, but what our family had to say and comforted all involved. She dedicated the whole day my dad died to his care and was there when he passed on. She explained to the family what was going on at each stage of his passing. She was compassionate after his passing with kind words and an outpouring of friendship and compassion for the family. We are fortunate to have such caring and qualified care takers here at SMC.
