Melissa had such a caring personality and was able to answer our questions while calming our nerves at the same time.
Melissa always made sure that our family understood how to handle and care for our father. When meds would not come in in time, she would go out of her way to phone them in and would continue to follow up until we received them. My father was very happy, and felt very safe and comfortable knowing Melissa was taking care of him.

My father-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He opted to come home and live the rest of his lie surrounded by family. Melissa came to meet with the family the day after he got home. We all sat in the living room, sad and scared and not fully able to comprehend all that was happening or coming our way. Melissa had such a caring personality and was able to answer our questions while calming our nerves at the same time. She was gentle with her words and let us all know, especially my father-in-law, that he was in good hands. My father-in-law really liked Melissa and we truly appreciate her care and kindness.

From the moment Melissa arrived at my parents’ home to admit my dad into the hospice program, she was warm, compassionate, and understanding. We were all expecting the worst and she brightened our whole outlook and day. She quickly established individual relationships with all of us and was very intuitive in responding to all of us. She took every phone call and sent over to the house everything we possibly could have needed. Every time Melissa saw my dad, he always expressed his deepest gratitude to Melissa and sincerely wanted her to have this award. I don’t know how our family ever would have gotten through this without Melissa. She is the greatest asset to your company. She will always hold a very special place in my heart.

I don’t know that there are words to truly describe how amazing Melissa was while dealing with/caring for my father. After his diagnosis and entering into the hospice program, Melissa sprang into action. This young lady went “above and beyond” anything we could have ever expected. Melissa attended to every possible concern we had. She provided us with her phone number and called us multiple times to make sure we were comfortable with all of her directions. Her care was exceptionally thorough and loving. She made my father smile (and even laugh). She put him at ease. My father, who never cared to go to doctors, loved seeing her and always felt better while she was visiting. I could never say enough about how important Melissa has been to my family.

I only met Melissa once at the initial meeting and sign-up session for hospice in the home. She was very compassionate, informative, caring, and thorough in answering our questions during a very trying time for our family! She is a remarkable person and a real asset to your organization. She is very talented in her vocation and was extremely helpful to our family’s needs.
