Banner should recognize the professional and infectious personality of this young man. My husband was in for 5 days and each encounter with Steven left us smiling and laughing!! Each day I visited my husband, I saw Steven and he remembered my name and he would ask how I was doing and ask how my husband’s day was. I don’t think he realizes the impact that had on us during a time of uncertainty. My husband saw a bible verse tattoo on his arm and asked if he was religious and with a little hesitation Steven answered and let us know his faith and told us that his father was a preacher. My husband asked if Steven would pray for and with us before his procedure. I noticed Steven became hesitant and I asked if he would get into trouble for that. Steven said he wasn’t sure, so he would come after he completed another task asked of him by another nurse.

A little after 7pm that evening, Steven came back to let us know that he did not forget my husband or me!!!! He is FUNNY! He said, “I clocked out, so technically I am a visitor now and I can pray with you.” This young man touched my and my husband’s heart and helped ease our fears. I have never had a more wonderful encounter than this!!!
