Mary Margaret is top-notch, amazing, and exactly where she should be; using her gifts to make the world a better place. My dad arrived on the floor just before my mom and me, right in the middle of a very loud, very serious, and seemingly dangerous situation with a patient in a neighboring room. Staff members and the Wake County Deputy Sheriff were addressing the situation.

Because of this, my dad felt he’d been “left in centerfield of an abandoned baseball field,” and when Mom and I arrived, Dad was so upset, and he was ready to leave. Within seconds of Mary Margaret walking into the room, the entire situation for us did a 180! She greeted us, apologized, explained as much as she could about what was going on, and reassured us that we were in the best place we could be for Dad’s situation.

She then spent the next 1 ½ hours joking and cutting up while taking care of Dad’s every need and making us all feel very, very relieved. This is all while having been through the ordeal herself. Even if she was upset and emotionally drained from what she had to deal with, you would have never known it. Anyone would be lucky to cross Mary Margaret's path!
