Kathy was remarkable and went above and beyond to get me through the check-in and did her best to help me with the pain and discomfort on the stretcher while I waited. I was delayed in getting moved for almost 2 hours. She kept checking to find out when I would be moved. It would have been easy to just leave me waiting and deal with all of the other patients. She showed passion, commitment to her profession, and a desire to ensure patients were being taken care of to the best of her ability.

As the patient, I was very nervous. Kathy not only calmed my fears but also made sure my husband was informed every step of the way. She also relieved my husband’s stress. Kathy is the best nurse I ever had. I was thrilled when she was brought to the floor and was my nurse again.
