Lindsey cared for my brother in the ICU and was absolutely amazing during the worst imaginable time for our family. She was caring not only for my brother, but what truly was amazing was her care for our family. So much that she felt as if she was part of our family and cared for my brother as if he was also hers. As a fellow nurse, I cannot even begin to tell you how great it was to feel that my brother’s care was safe in her hand and it allowed me especially to have such a worry taken off of me. She took care of my brother for 3 shifts and always made sure he was comfortable and his care was outstanding. She listened to our requests, needs, and was on top of making sure we were okay going through such as difficult situation. She made sure that everyone was updated and aware of what was going on with his care and when we needed it, she was very upfront with the situation. Everyone was amazing during his admission but if it wasn’t for her, I know personally that I would not have been able to get through an absolutely horrible situation.
