I need to share a story about a Nurse, her name is Tiffany Moe, and she has no idea that I am sharing this information.

In the spirit of Happy Nurses Week, I need to point her out. When I had to take my mother to the emergency room at Trinity Health Oakland Hospital (Pontiac, MI.), I thought she was going to die. I think my mom thought she was going to die. It was at the height of the covid pandemic, and we were in despair. It’s such an awful feeling to be suffering and worrying about her care and waiting to see her fate on that day and the days to come. My mom ended up spending almost a whole week there, everyday trying to be positive and focusing on coming home. She just wanted to feel better and be with her grandkids again. It was a really rough time.

They say there is light at the end of the tunnel and that light was our Angel Nurse, Tiffany Moe. From the moment she walked into our room, she made us feel at ease, thankfully she made us laugh, cheered us on, and comforted us when we were down, frustrated and scared. She stood out and gave us incredible attention, and she was bright, smart, very modest and in the end, she made everything better. We have exchanged cell numbers to stay in touch and she actually reached out after we got home to check in on my mom, this was a month after we left the hospital!!!! She will be that Nurse we will never forget and always appreciate.
