What’s a better word than amazing? Outstanding? Fantastic? None of those words are enough to show how much we appreciate Nurse Sarah. Going to the doctor’s office (especially with kids who get anxious about it) is not a fun thing, but when they see Nurse Sarah walk out, they always hope it’s their name that she calls. Sarah’s energy is contagious. She gets to their level, she remembers little facts about them to ask them about the next time she sees them, and she also “picks out the best stickers”. We even ran into Sarah over the summer at a town gathering and she knew the kid's names and stopped to say hello! It was like a celebrity sighting for the kids. Sarah has been a light in our lives. Recently our world felt as if it turned upside down with a hospital stay. Sarah was our nurse the day we ended up having to go in. The way she was able to stay calm and keep my mama heart from exploding, I will never forget. We were lucky enough to have Nurse Sarah again and she was so very sincere in her care and questions about our daughter and how she is recovering. Nurses have to ask questions, but Sarah deeply cares and I truly felt her love for her profession and the kids she helps. We have been so blessed to meet Sarah and wish her nothing but the best as she continues the career she was meant to do. She is the greatest.
