I would like to nominate Janis at the Queens Cancer Center. I remember the first time that I came to the Queens Cancer Center for my cancer treatments. That’s when I met Janis, she was my nurse and still is now that I'm here for immunotherapy. She takes the time to talk to me and explain everything to me and answers all my questions. She was there for me when I was so scared and afraid. She has gone above and beyond. So caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Janis has made my journey with cancer so much easier, she has comforted me in so many ways and literally held my hand throughout this journey in the most difficult time of my life. She is so cool and an amazing nurse! She has become a friend to me. Now, I look forward to coming in to have immunotherapy here. I feel like it’s not such a hard thing to do now, having such an amazing nurse Janis. Love her
