Bree was there for us in the most traumatic time of our lives and we will never be able to thank her enough for that.
My husband and I lost our son at 35 weeks. I went into labor early in the morning and they were unable to find a heartbeat. We are new to the area and have no family here. Bree was there for us every step of the way. She talked me through everything that was happening to me. She laughed with me when my husband and I made jokes to try and cope. She ordered us food when we couldn’t stop crying long enough to order it ourselves. She held my hand and stayed by my side when I had to give birth to my son when I knew he wouldn’t be okay when he came.
She reassured me numerous times that this wasn’t my fault and there wasn’t anything I could have done. And most importantly, she took care of our son as if he were alive. She wrapped him up in a blanket, and took pictures of him with my husband and me; the only family photos we will ever have with him. She made us a mold of his hands so we would be able to remember how perfect he was. She cried with us and held our hands as we held our son for the first and last time. And when it was time to say goodbye, she carried our son out of our room and assured us he never left her sight. She held him as if he was still there, and she protected him when I couldn’t. She was there for us in the most traumatic time of our lives and we will never be able to thank her enough for that. She will forever be a part of our story and she will forever be in our hearts. If Bree ever reads this, Thank you.
