Ikeya listened to our concerns, sympathized with us and was and was able to get in touch with the correct people to come up with a game plan. My husband was super agitated that we had been at the hospital for over a day with no treatment plan. He was tired of being confined to a bed and almost ready to leave.

We knew that we came to treat an infection, so we did not want to leave without antibiotics. Ikeya made multiple calls, all while keeping us in the loop. I could tell that this was no easy task. Between my husband's frustrations and her trying to reach the right provider, Ikeya never lost her cool. She stayed on top of his care as well as that of her other patients.

She got us one step closer to discharge home where my husband could be comfortable during his recovery from brain/spinal surgery. Thank you so much, Ikeya, for being our advocate and for the awesome job of talking to my husband through this tough moral time.
