Lauren exemplifies each of these values. Compassion: My mother has not been in the hospital in 15 years. She was scared and out of her comfort zone. Lauren set her at ease with her nature and attitude toward Mom. Accountability: Lauren was very efficient and knowledgeable. Anything we asked her about what was going to happen next, she could answer and put us at ease. My mother can sometimes be outspoken and always independent. Lauren respected her right to have an opinion and to help navigate her care even though she is 89. Integrity: That came through in everything Lauren did. She was caring, professional and knowledgeable. Teamwork: Lauren worked well with her team members. She worked together with everyone. 

Lauren brought calm to the room. Mom was having tests, and things were unfamiliar to her. Lauren reassured her and walked her through what the process was going to be and that we would be waiting for Mom when she got back to the room. I had lots of questions, and Lauren was able to answer them calmly and in terms that were easy for me to understand.
