My 7-year-old son was back in the hospital for what we know now - Serum sickness. Each time our nurse Mr. Kase came into the room, he had a smile on his face. He really listened to me as I was explaining all my son's symptoms and issues. Throughout our 5 hour stay, Mr. Kase was always checking on us and making sure our little man was comfortable. Not only did he take the time to explain things to us, but he also made sure my son knew what was going on so he wouldn't be scared.

Even when my son was doing blood work, Mr. Kase kept telling him how great he was doing and how proud he was of my son. Mr. Kase was personable and very devoted, which made it extremely easy for us to trust our son's care with him. After being discharged, my son said "When I grow up, I want to be a nurse and take care of kids, just like Mr. Kase!"
