During my admission, Matt's smile and willingness to help everyone were noticed during my walks in the hall. It didn't matter what was going on, he happily helped others. We started chatting one day in regard to a procedure I needed, which he was familiar with as he had one before too. He stayed with me in the hall and talked to me. He had such a calming spirit about it all. He explained the procedure and answered questions I had.

Over the next few days, we had a few more side chats in regard to my upcoming procedure. Even later on when I was dealing with chest pain, Matt stepped in to help and was a calming presence. Matt's calming presence is rare and shows that he is a genuine soul. He sets a great example for male nurses and all nurses. Matt is amazing!
