I can honestly say that Jess has made a tremendous difference for me personally and for the patients we care for, not in one specific instance, but every time she comes to work. Jess is the kind of nurse whose name you are thrilled to see on the schedule for your shift, not only because of her bubbly and positive personality, but because you know that you have a rock-solid charge nurse who can handle anything thrown at her. Even when situations become stressful, she goes the extra mile to make sure our patients don't feel the stress, because she's making sure her team gets the help and support they need.

As a nurse, Jess is incredibly kind and caring. She is nothing short of a bleeding heart when it comes to her patients and people in general. If there is something she can do to make a patient's night better, you had better believe she will find a way to make it happen. She is highly skilled, and is always a go-to for a difficult IV start, foley, you name it. Jess is your girl. When Jess is taking care of a patient, I know that they are in excellent hands. I KNOW they are getting what they need, when they need it, and if her patient experiences a change, she will be right there to catch it and intervene.

I can say with the utmost confidence that if I or any of my family members needed to be hospitalized, I would hope to see Jess's face at night. I know I would be put at ease knowing our care was in her hands. She is a fantastic nurse, one who is truly deserving of The DAISY Nurse.
