Devorah is one of the most caring nurses I have had the pleasure to work with in my career. She is an unwavering patient advocate and ensures safe care in every situation, even if that means she must stop the line or have uncomfortable discussions with other members of the health care team. She has learned every RN role in GI and Bronchoscopy and is always willing to jump in wherever and whenever needed. I have had many patients write wonderful things about her, most specifically her tenacity to make things happen. In fact, I have a thank you card from a patient on my desk today to give to her when she returns from vacation. She is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, conscientious, and a solid team player.

Devorah stayed by my side, explained every detail of my Bronchoscopy, and made sure I understood all of the problems I had with the ultrasound IV. She was very attentive, very caring, and made me feel really comfortable. I feel like she went over and above her duties to make me feel comfortable in an awkward procedure that may or may not deliver good news. She’s an asset to the clinic because it is a very difficult procedure to have especially when you can’t receive IVs well. She assisted the attending IV specialist doctor, which was really helpful since he needed some extra supplies.
