Dr. Bruce always goes above and beyond for faculty and students. This dedication not only shows his commitment to the students but also the Aggie Core Value of excellence in teaching. Dr. Bruce has also spent tireless hours in the evenings and on weekends with academic success meetings and supporting the students in SNA as a faculty advisor. He is always willing to pitch in and help where and when there is a need. He proctors exams, helps in COCs, and evaluates OSCEs. He is the first to get out his calendar and see if he can help when a need is mentioned. Dr. Bruce is respected by the students and they love their mental health clinical time with him. Dr. Bruce advocates for our students in every committee meeting and does whatever he can to ensure their voices are heard.

Dr. Bruce is completely focused on practices, strategies, and philosophies designed for student success. He exhibits integrity in all dealings with students, staff and fellow faculty. He models high accountability and responsibility for students in all matters related to course and clinical work. He expects the same performance from his students but helps them meet the expectations through guidance, advice, and gentle correction when needed. He is collaborative in education practice and supportive of colleagues. He is a pleasure to work with.
