My husband fell and fractured his hip. He was here 3 days before his surgery was done and it was delayed twice. When Kelli had to tell him the 2nd time she was on the verge of tears. The next day when he was in surgery she came to his room, and I could see the relief in her face when she realized he was in surgery. She also took the time to explain procedures and medications at his level. My husband is not an easy patient, but Kelli made him feel like he mattered. He also doesn’t compliment easily, but he told me numerous times about how awesome she was. The world needs more nurses like her.
