Mrs. Carson-Gunter is a transformational leader who believes in the leadership model of harvesting the good qualities of her staff. She leads by an exemplary model as she expects her staff to carry out their nursing functions with professionalism, empathy, respect, and accountability. When the floor is short-staffed, you can count on her to relieve staff to ensure that care is provided uninterrupted. She is not just an office white coat leader, instead, she relates to each staff member in a humane manner and is always ready to listen to our personal worries that may impact our duties.

Our manager has this grace of office that she manifests even when we are dumping our frustrations on her, she knows how to calm our nerves and reassure us that it is gonna be okay. One day, we were short staffed that our manager left her home just to come and see us. She encourages us to strive to improve our education and I am one of them who recently got my master's degree.
