She has always been there for us as a listening ear and is our biggest cheerleader through school and anything with life!
I would like to thank Mrs. Faust for the unconditional support she gives her students. Whether it is in class, lab, at clinical she is always there to support and cheer her students on. She teaches without judgement. She is one of the professors that many students feel very comfortable with to talk about school/life stressors and receive good feedback from. With her personality and outlook on nursing, I hope someday I can be half the nurse she is.
Mrs. Faust is the first nursing instructor that we have had who has treated us like adults and equals. She has always been there for us as a listening ear and is our biggest cheerleader through school and anything with life! Whenever someone has something big going on she goes out of her way to find information on it and shares it with the class and gives the appropriate recognition. When it comes to our education, she encourages us to participate and get involved in the class by asking if anyone has anything they can relate to but never forces anyone to share. She approaches her teaching style to be able to use real life experiences. She truly is a great person and shows compassion and love towards her job and especially towards her students. She takes the time to learn about our lives and our family and asks often about those! For once, our class feels like adult learners and appreciated for such!
