I just want everyone to know how special I think Dorothy is. She is extraordinary, caring, and very attentive. She always puts her patients first. She makes the family comfortable. She allows them to ask any questions; nothing is off-limits. She explains what the doctor says in a clear way because the patients do not understand the doctor's language. I have worked with Dorothy for several years, and she is a loving, caring, and respectful human being. I have watched her work seven days straight with no lunch and no break. She is my choice for The DAISY Award because of her dedication not just to Touro but to her craft. She is one of the best in the game. Dorothy has been an RN for 20 years, and she gets better and better. Thanks, you guys, for allowing me to work alongside this extraordinary woman. I have learned so much from watching her do what she does best.
