Not only was Erik always cheerful and positive, accommodating and recognizing when my husband was in an uncomfortable position, but he was excellent in explaining how all the meds affected him as well as explaining the healing process and how the surgery would result in changing his life.
Where do I start? Erik was such an incredible nurse and strongly contributed to the healing process of my husband following major open heart surgery. Erik stood out far above any of the other medical staff, which is saying a lot since we had many good nurses and aides.
Not only was Erik always cheerful and positive, accommodating and recognizing when my husband was in an uncomfortable position, but he was excellent in explaining how all the meds affected him as well as explaining the healing process and how the surgery would result in changing his life. Erik always encouraged my husband to do his physical activity, follow the occupational therapy (Erik himself would test my husband's memory and ask questions to see how he was improving), made recommendations for menu selections, and continue to tell my husband how well he was doing. Erik is a 5-star nurse--5 out of 5! We were so blessed to have him multiple times during my husband's stay.
