You never quite know what to expect when you give birth for the first time, but you hope that you have a good experience no matter what happens. When I say Lexi was the midwife of dreams I am not exaggerating. She put me and my Husband at ease as soon as she walked through the door. She stayed with me for her entire shift, getting to know us personally, answering our many questions, making us laugh, and creating a relaxing and positive environment.

I had a temperature during my labor, but Lexi did everything she could to keep me comfortable. When it came to delivering our little girl, I had full confidence and trust in Lexi and I'm certain she is the reason that I was able to deliver without intervention. She stayed with us after the birth and took photos, she helped my Husband dress our baby for the first time and helped us feel confident in handling her and feeding her. She made us feel like she really cared about us and our little family - we will never forget Lexi or how she made us feel.

My birth story is a positive one because of her and if I ever give birth again, I'd want her by my side! Anyone who has her as their midwife going forward is incredibly lucky. To be able to start motherhood with an experience like that, I will be forever grateful to Lexi.
