Danielle cared for my father during an emotional time in our families’ lives. We were nearing the end of life with Dad, and it was Danielle who was our consoler and a beacon of light during this dark time. Her compassion, care, kindness, skill, calmness, and thoughtfulness made Dad feel so content. He knew that she was with him every step of the journey to his final peace. Danielle communicated with each of us in the family in such an assuring manner while keeping us up to date with each decision that was made. Her bedside manner made Dad feel safe, comfortable, and always cared for.

Danielle exemplifies what it means to be a nurse. Miami Valley Hospital and Premier should be proud to have someone like her representing them. If we ever have a reason to return with a family member or be in the hospital ourselves, I hope we are cared for in such a loving and professional way.
