Cathy always goes above and beyond for our patients, making sure they are comfortable and knowledgeable about their upcoming procedures. One example that really sticks out to me is when we had a complex patient with autism. He was having a really hard time understanding what was about to happen and why he had to leave his family. He just wanted someone to lay down with him until we could get him under sedation. Cathy didn’t even think twice and hopped up on the bed with the patient and just made him feel comfortable. She talked with him about his interests and calmed him enough to do what we needed to do. It nearly brought tears to my eyes. Cathy is one of the hardest working and kindest employees I have worked with. She always goes above and beyond, and I hope to be as amazing as her someday.
