Cheryl is an amazing nurse who deserves recognition for being an outstanding team leader. She goes above and beyond to ensure our high-risk veterans are cared for. She is committed to our mission and puts our Veterans' needs ahead of her own. She shows great integrity and contributes to high standards of care through education, resource utilization, and simply helping our Veterans through some of the most difficult VA processes. She is a driven nurse who wants the best for others, even her colleagues. When Cheryl is not caring for a Veteran, she is seen helping our new nurses learn their roles and is always available when they are in need. She uses her expertise to share her knowledge with others and is highly respected among the team. She is approachable and takes time to understand others in a way they feel comfortable. She is humble and may not feel she deserves to be recognized or may say, "I'm just doing my job," but we are very blessed to have her as a member of our team.
