This was our third delivery but the first time at Emerson Hospital - we spent the prior night in the hospital prepping for induction and were tired and stressed to begin the morning. Although there were clearly many cases in the L&D that day, Liz spent her entire shift from start through delivery ensuring that the health of my wife and our unborn child was the top priority.

From moving my wife around to prevent decels, communicating status/positioning, and always having a plan, we felt comfortable and confident knowing the road ahead. What stood out is how she approached every nuanced situation with confidence, and despite the chaos on the rest of the floor, we always felt like we had her and the entire L&Ds' full attention. She knew when to get the physician and when to handle the needs herself, which again made us feel like we could trust her and that she was as invested as we were in the healthy delivery of our child.

Lastly, she approached every situation with an incredible bedside manner - keeping the conversation light while handling complexities, and we are truly grateful for her focus and energy that day.
