I wanted to take the time to share how thankful we are for Melina and all that she did for our little family. Now that we’ve been home for a little, we’ve been thinking about our journey and all she did for us. Melina, thank you for taking the most difficult experience of our lives and giving us hope. Your compassion and skills in serving these babies are something amazing to witness. It’s truly a blessing to experience it firsthand in the role of a mama. I’ll always remember the way you cared for R and went the extra mile to give us peace. I hope you understand what a role you’re playing in the lives of those families. You create an environment that gives them hope and a sense of peace when you have their babies in your care. It’s something that I’ll always remember, and it’s priceless. My heart tells me you came into our journey when we needed you the most. I hope you know just how much of a blessing you are to these families and that you’re truly in your God-given calling working there. I hope our paths cross again one day. I only hope I can share my heart to give you just a fraction of the encouragement you gave us! You truly are AMAZING!
