Dotty always makes sure we leave her station feeling better.

Dottie was spot on in addressing all of my medication needs. She was compassionate in getting my glucose levels on a timely basis and very considerate on rotating finger. Dottie was a pleasure to work with and I want to thank her for her service and bedside care. All nurses rock! My mother was an RN, so I understand what all nurses go through.

Once I arrived, she made me feel welcomed and she was very caring. She helped me with my meds and showed me what they are for so I can understand them better. She also gave me advice with my family issues, and she really took great care during my stay.

I would like to take this time to say how wonderful, warm, kind, caring, loving Dotty is. She is very, very, very sweet, happy, and most of all, professional. Dotty always comes to the unto with a smile and a willingness to work. I believe that this is not just a job...it is her calling. She takes the time to get to know us as individuals; not only does she always give meds on time, but she also talks to us. So, when we are having a bad day, Dotty will take the time to find out why we are having a bad day. She always makes sure we leave her station feeling better.

As a nurse, she goes above and beyond for us. One of the first times I came across Dotty, I was feeling incredibly depressed, sad, and alone, afraid of what was I going to endure/encounter while here. Dotty took the time to ask what was wrong and listened and totally put me at ease and relaxed. If you're not well enough to get the meds, she also comes to your room. She is an amazing person and is a credit to A2 as a nurse. She most definitely deserves to be recognized and if anyone deserves it is her. I cannot express it more. We love her.
