Lacey comforted me and gave me a hug that I really needed that day.
My mom was in the hospital because two major organs were failing, along with her sleeping for a week straight. My Nana and I were absolutely terrified and extremely upset about this. All the nurses in the unit were amazing. Lacey, in particular, was a big help in our darkest hours for my nana and me. We didn’t know if my mom was going to live.
Lacey was a calming person for my nana and me to talk to and very comforting. When I first got to the hospital, I was by myself and did not know how critical my mom’s condition actually was. After I found out, I was hysterically crying, so lost and scared. Lacey comforted me and gave me a hug that I really needed that day.
She was very, very attentive to questions that me and my nana had, and a huge help in us learning what exactly was going on.
