Tiffany stayed calm and worked efficiently and quickly to get the patient as stable as possible for transport. She was an absolute rock star.
Tiffany has been a wonderful addition to the urgent care team. She hit the ground running and has made a difference in not only patient care but also the clinic flow. The staff working with her trusts her and trusts her knowledge. She has received multiple GEM cards (6 that I have a record of in the last 3 months) for various positive situations from both patients and staff. She truly exemplifies excellence; her peers have seen it and so do her patients. She is never in a rush and gives the personal attention needed to each individual patient.

She recently received a GEM card from a patient’s parent stating, “Thank you for the great care given to my son when he came to Urgent care. Thank you for taking the time to explain the testing that was ordered. My husband was very impressed with your bedside manner.” This is just a brief example of the wonderful care she provides daily.

She is compassionate with patients and her peers and advocates for her team. She exhibits critical thinking, and providers recognized her for this, stating, “Tiffany showed excellent leadership/clinical skills this morning when an unstable patient came into the urgent care. Tiffany took the initiative to start an IV, asking to give nausea medication and check the patient's blood sugar levels all while awaiting EMS arrival. Tiffany stayed calm and worked efficiently and quickly to get the patient as stable as possible for transport. She was an absolute rock star!”

Even the float pool staff with limited interactions recognize her stating, “She is always so supportive and helpful when I float to Texas City UC. Clinic flow is always smooth when working with her and the staff. She definitely makes you feel comfortable and ensures you are taken care of while working a shift!”.

She exhibits excellent teamwork. Since joining our clinic, she has organized team building events, provided supplies for them, and re-organized the storage closet as well as the medication cabinets. She took the supervisor’s vision and made it a reality. The organization of meds/supplies improved the workflow, allowing the staff to care for the patients more efficiently.
