I am very impressed with Audrey as an OR nurse.  She was covering for someone who went on lunch, when she came to my room, she introduced herself and told me that she was covering for the other nurse and would be taking me back to the OR.  She was very friendly and chatted with me the whole way back. 

The part that I was most impressed with is that she explained every step in detail, including which of the 3 EKG leads would be the coldest.  She introduced each team member as they entered the room and told me what their role was.  My surgery was performed under local anesthetic without any other sedation, so it was a bit weird being wide awake in the OR.  It didn't faze her, she explained everything in detail:  the time-out process, how the drapes would be placed, how my hand would be positioned.  There were no surprises, which made me feel very comfortable with the whole procedure. 

The most impressive part to me is that she knew I was a nurse and worked at the hospital and still took the time to explain all the little details. I can't say enough positive things about the care I received from Audrey.
