Tom has grown in the Palmadale Regional Medical Center family to the Charge Nurse role. He has experience in Telemetry, ICU, & Emergency Department. He is a strong patient advocate and supportive of his team and coworkers.

Tom understands efficiency and inpatient to outpatient workflows. He is able to strategically ensure care collaboration when treating a patient. Tom openly shares his ideas for improving patient outcomes and workflows. He has a passion to lead his team and is collaborative with everyone. The House Supervisors and his leaders are well supported when he is in charge, with the knowledge that the Emergency Department is safe.

Tom consistently has a calm demeanor and makes solid decisions. He always has the safety of the patient and team foremost in his decisions. He efficiently escalates situations that need his leadership so that issues can be resolved promptly. He is a valued member of the Emergency Department team, with a cool head and a 'get it done' attitude. He has the qualities that you look for in a leader and rarely find in one complete package.
