Deanna always goes above and beyond for all the patients, even if they are not in her assignment. One night, she sat charting while entertaining a patient who was not on her assignment. Doing whatever she could to keep him calm and in his chair. She sat next to him playing music and games and just talking to him. She did this not once, but two nights in a row.

While trying to entertain this patient, one of her assigned patients began to have a medical emergency. During this time, she spent the next two and a half hours in their room trying to get the right people on the phone to get orders placed. She remained calm and kept the patient at ease while he was going through a rather scary situation. As with this night, every time we work with Deanna, she is always so positive and helpful. There is always something to learn from Deanna and she is always very willing to take the time to teach and explain and answer questions.
