Our family welcomed our son through the gift of adoption. The birth mother invited us to be present at the hospital during the delivery. As adopting parents we weren't sure what to expect or how the staff would react to us being there. From the moment we arrived, this nurse made us feel like part of the process all while including all parents in the conversation. Her magnetic personality put everyone at ease and made our experience something we will never forget. She took the time to educate others and answer questions while always supporting and including his birth mom. At one point, she told us how much she loves her job and it shows! In every interaction, she was smiling and positive while always being professional. Our journey to become parents has been filled with a lot of answered prayers and we truly feel that god intended her to be part of our journey.
