Erin called me, and we discussed a welfare check because we weren't sure if the member was alone.
Erin had a difficult call with an interpreter call. The caller had CP/SOB and wanted only an appt. When told she would be consulted by the CCMD, the Member got upset, stating she only wanted an appt. Erin had the CCMD wait to give non-compliance, but when she returned the call, the member hung up the phone. When Erin called back the member, she got upset again and hung up before she could call back the CCMD. This happened twice. The 3rd time, the member did not answer. Erin called me, and we discussed a welfare check because we weren't sure if the member was alone. I advised her to call the member again and advised that if we can't give her a non-compliance warning, we would have to do a welfare check. Erin got ahold of the member once again but could not call out to the CCMD or VSL lines. She was with her 19-year-old daughter, and I Teams'd her the non-compliance language to give. Erin did a great job of persevering and making sure the member was safe!!
